INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a person was shot Friday morning near
Indy’s east side.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Wallace Ave around 5:30 a.m. on a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds in a garage.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 29-year-old Geraldo Morales.
Morales was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
