INDIANAPOLIS — A death investigation is underway on the south side of Indianapolis.
Police were called to the 600 block of Meadows Edge Lane around 11 a.m. for a report of two unresponsive people, both males.
Officers confirmed one person was found dead at the scene. The second person was treated and released at the scene in good condition, IMPD said.
The manner of the first person’s death is unknown, but homicide detectives are investigating. Police said the deceased individual had “undisclosed trauma.”
The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 61-year-old Bawi Cung and the cause of death was pending an autopsy.
A third person at the home made the initial call, but police said a language barrier hampered the response. The case remains under investigation.
