INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An Indianapolis man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for his role in the robbery and fatal shooting of a southern Indiana gun shop owner.

A judge ordered the sentence Thursday after 24-year-old Darion Harris pleaded guilty. He took part in the September 2014 robbery of the Muscatatuck Outdoors Gun Shop near North Vernon.

Authorities say that during the robbery Darryl Worthen fatally shot 61-year-old Scott Maxie, after which Worthen, Harris and Dejuan Worthen stole 45 guns from the store. They returned to Indianapolis, where they sold several of the weapons.

Darryl Worthen was sentenced in 2015 to 60 years in prison. Dejuan Worthen has agreed to plead guilty and is awaiting sentencing.
