INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 14, 2015) – Indiana’s Department of Transportation is set to host an open house Tuesday night to get feedback from residents regarding future projects. People who live in the east central Indiana district are encouraged to attend and provide comments about current proposals.

INDOT is currently in the process of drafting its project plan for the next four years. Officials review state and federal funds available for roadwork and then determine what areas need attention. Residents are welcome to share their thoughts on road and pavement improvements, bridges that might need work and even the demand for bike trails. INDOT also looks into ways to improve traffic safety as they decide what projects to carry out for the next few years.

The open house will take place at INDOT’s Traffic Management Center,  8620 E. 21st Street, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

People who cannot make it to the open house can submit feedback online. You can visit or email
