Indianapolis man arrested in connection with fatal Avon crash

AVON, Ind.– An Avon man was arrested Wednesday for his alleged role in a fatal accident in April.

Officers responded to the scene of the crash at Ronald Reagan Parkway and County Road 100 South on April 6.

Lisa Strueh, 26, was pronounced dead as a result of the crash. Avon Police Department detectives interviewed witnesses and eventually arrested 21-year-old Iqpal Kandhola of Indianapolis.

Kandhola was arrested on charges of reckless homicide, operating a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in death and possession of marijuana.

He is currently in the Hendricks County Jail on $25,000 bond.
