INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 2, 2015)– Police responded to a reported armed robbery Wednesday afternoon near Community Hospital North Wednesday.

Al Larsen with Community Health said an active shooter situation was initially paged out for one of the Community North buildings, and hospital staff took precautions according to their protocols.  The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said there is no active shooter situation, and that the event was an armed robbery.
