INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A person is in serious condition after being shot on the west side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Just before 7:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the 3800 block of W. Michigan Street in response to a person shot.
Police say they found one person suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The person was taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to IMPD.
This marks the fifth person shot in Indianapolis since Saturday night.
