INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Homicide detectives were called to two separate shooting scenes Saturday evening.
The first shooting was fatal. It happened around 5:30 p.m. on the northwest side in the 5400 block of High School Road.
46-year-old Ryan Goss was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are still looking for a light-skinned male shooting suspect and the weapon used. Police say a nearby elementary school surveillance camera captured the suspect fleeing the scene. That footage has not become available yet.
Detectives were also called to a shooting on city’s north side around 5:30 p.m. That shooting occurred at Countrybrook North Apartments in the 1300 block of Tishman Lane.

Police say a juvenile suffered a graze wound to the upper leg after a shotgun was accidentally discharged. We’re told those injuries were not serious but the victim was taken to the hospital. CPS was also called to the scene.
