INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 12, 2015) — A car from the IMPD Explorer program was involved in an accident Saturday morning.

The crash happened on I-65 southbound near I-465 around 7:30. The driver of the car lost control and hit the barrier wall on the interstate.

Injuries were reported, but an IMPD dispatcher says they were not serious.

An IMPD spokesperson says the car was part of a caravan headed to a “Shop With A Cop” event. No children were in the car.
