INDIANAPOLIS — A fire at a residence displaced six people on the near north side early Tuesday morning.
The fire was contained to the first level of the home.
The Red Cross is assisting with shelter for the displaced residents.
Firefighters had to use certain protocol to adapt to the snow and cold including to run pumps so the water did not freeze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
