I-70 crash sends one person to the hospital

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (April 2, 2016) — A serious crash along Interstate 70 sends one person to the hospital.

According to Hancock County dispatch, the crash happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the westbound lane of I-70 near mile marker 104. The accident involved a state highway truck and a semi-truck. The driver of the highway truck was injured and airlifted to a nearby hospital.

INDOT cameras show the left bound lane of I-70 near State Road 9 is closed while crews clean-up the accident. Drivers should expect delays.
