INDIANAPOLIS – Fire crews are on scene of a semi fire on southbound I-465 near Shadeland Avenue and Fall Creek Road.

Crews responded to the fire shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday and found a semi carrying cookies and cookie dough fully engulfed in flames.

The fire is blocking three southbound lanes on I-465 and traffic in the area is slow-moving. Southbound lanes of the Shadeland overpass are also closed.

The mess has since been cleaned up and the lanes have reopened.

INDOT says a state inspector is headed to the scene to make sure the overpass doesn't have any structural damage.

Firefighters are unsure what caused the fire, but the driver of the semi is unharmed.
