Fondling case prompts IUPUI Campus Crime Alert

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 12,2015)–IUPUI Campus Security has issued a crime alert following a report of a sexual assault on the downtown campus.

Police reports say at 6:15 a.m. Sunday a person walking south on Blackford Street next to Military Park was approached by a subject who forced the victim into the park and against a tree. The victim said the subject put his hand inside the victim’s clothing.

The victim told police the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.  The suspect was last seen leaving the area southbound on Blackford Street with two other males.
