INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Florida Georgia Line has donated a new dog to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s K-9 unit.
The band was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Saturday for FGL Fest, one of the highlights of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard.
IMPD says the dog is a male German Shepherd, and gave him the name Sarge.
Sarge’s responsibility will be explosives detecting once his training is done. IMPD says you can follow Sarge’s journey on Instagram at @IMPD_K9Sarge.
