INDIANAPOLIS – First Lady Jill Biden will arrive in Indianapolis on Wednesday as part of a series of back-to-school events across the country, according to a press release from the Office of the First Lady.

The First Lady and Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy will visit Westfield High School to highlight the importance of mental health resources for schools.

According to officials with the Office of the First Lady, they will be talking about how federal programs have supported mental health services throughout Indiana and throughout the country.

During the visit, the First Lady and the Surgeon General will also meet with students with the Robbie’s Hope student organization at Westfield High School and participate in a roundtable to hear how the school, district, state and federal government work together to support mental health needs for students.

She will also visit Chicago, Illinois, and Madison, Wisconsin, as part of the tour.
