Firefighters respond to vacant house fire on the near east side

Indianapolis, IND. — Officials are saying nobody was hurt at a house fire on the near east side late Friday night.

What caused the fire is still under investigation, though about $35,000 was damaged in the blaze. Firefighters say the house was vacant but the building still had power.

Fire investigation will continue to look into what sparked the flame.
