INDIANAPOLIS — A family of five on Indianapolis’ northwest side was forced out of their home Saturday after a fire spread to the attic.
The Indianapolis Fire Department says it believes improper use of a wood-burning stove caused the fire.
The family was able to get out safely after seeing the smoke in the home.
