Indianapolis, Ind. (March 25, 2015) – Families are grieving and pleading for answers after four people were found dead Tuesday morning at a home on the near northwest side. The Marion County Coroner has positively identified the victims as 18-year-old Davon Whitlock, his mother 41-year-old Terri Betties, her cousin 32-year-old Tiara Turner, and family friend 48-year-old Sherry Taylor.

Police say there was forced entry into a side door of the home. The house was ransacked, everything was thrown around, and TVs were flipped.  All victims had multiple gunshot wounds.

“This is a senseless murder and how it happened, this shouldn’t, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, on anybody,” said family member Jojuana Taylor.

She placed flowers outside the home to honor the four killed.

“My cousin’s color is red, that’s her favorite color. The white for Davon. Pink is for my Auntie Terri and Sherry,” Taylor said.

Family members say Turner leaves behind three young teens.

“Kids is without their parents and loved ones and stuff like that, restless night,” said Taylor.

The family says they are shaken knowing the people responsible are still out there. Police have not identified any leads in the case.

“I don’t know why anybody would want to hurt her, any of them,” said family member April Richardson. The family is pleading for answers and for people to come forward with information.
