WHITELAND, Ind. (April 25, 2016) – A family of four is safe this morning after escaping their burning home in Whiteland.
Crews responded to a call about a fire in the 500 block of Greensprings Drive in Whiteland around 1 a.m. Monday.
When they arrived on scene, firefighters say they found a home fully engulfed in flames.
A man, woman and three children, along with the family dog , escaped the home and waited for crews outside.
According to fire officials on scene, the house is a total loss. There were also two vehicles – a minivan and a larger van parked in the driveway – that were destroyed by the blaze.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
