UPDATE: The exit ramp on I-65 northbound near Southport is now clear after an early morning vehicle fire involving a truck.

INDIANAPOLIS — A vehicle fire on I-65 involving a semi-truck has broken out in Indianapolis on Southport Road Tuesday morning.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the exit ramp is expected to be closed for at least one hour as crews try to clear the scene.
