Emerald cashew 100 calorie packs recalled, may contain pieces of glass

(April 4, 2016) – Snyder’s-Lance has issued a voluntary recall for a limited amount of Emerald 100 Calorie Pack Roasted & Salted Cashew Halves & Pieces.

The nationwide recall was issued because there may be small glass pieces in the packages.

The recall covers only specific production codes of the following product:


No injuries have been reported at this time. Snyder’s-Lance said in a statement, “Although our investigation is ongoing, we believe the source of the glass to be the raw cashews received from one of our suppliers under a specific lot code. We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution after receiving a consumer complaint.”
