INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Despite icy road conditions, the Indianapolis Colts’ Bleed Blue Blood Drive and Holiday Fest will continue as scheduled Saturday.

Doors to the event at Lucas Oil Stadium will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Colts and the Indiana Blood Center are encouraging donors and attendees to put their safety first and travel only when they feel comfortable doing so.

The Bleed Blue event is Indiana’s largest single-day blood drive. The life-giving day of service attracts nearly 5,000 Hoosiers, of which approximately 2,200 will be blood donors. All who come to donate blood will receive a limited-edition football featuring Adam Vinatieri, Colts kicker.

This year’s event includes access to the field and Colts locker room, as well as holiday movies on the big screens, which begin at 12 p.m. For a full event schedule, visit www.colts.com/bleedblue.

To make an appointment to donate blood, click here or call Indiana Blood Center at 1-800-632-4722.
