DECATUR, Ind. (April 22, 2015) – A 25-year-old Decatur man turned himself into the Adams County Jail Tuesday evening following a weeklong investigation by an Indiana State Police detective from the Fort Wayne Post.

According to Detective Bobby Jackson, on Wednesday, April 15, he received a complaint alleging that Spencer R. Wilson had been communicating with two minor females who are under the age of 18 but at least 16 years of age via text messages and Snapchat and sending them photographs of his genitals.

As a result of Jackson’s investigation, Wilson–who was attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy as an officer with the Decatur Police Department–was charged with two counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors. He was taken to the Adams County Jail and later bonded out.
