WARREN COUNTY, Ind. – A man wanted for murder and arson is in police custody.

Scottie M. Kincade, 33, Williamsport, was sought in connection with a fire that police believe he set in order to cover up a crime Tuesday afternoon at 5 Jackson Street in Williamsport.

Officers located Kincade Wednesday. He’ll go to jail after being checked out at the hospital.

The investigation began after firefighters found the body in the Williamsport home around 1 p.m. Tuesday. Someone had intentionally set the fire, according to Indiana State Police.
