Two men shot on city’s near northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 12, 2015) – Two men were shot on the city’s near northwest side early Thursday morning.

The shooting occurred near West 34th Street and Elmira Street around 1:15 a.m.

Four men were sitting in a vehicle when another man allegedly began shooting at their car, police said.

Police confirmed the two men on the driver’s side were hit. One victim was shot in the leg and the other was grazed by a bullet on his left side.

One victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital, the other to Methodist Hospital. According to officers, both men are in stable condition at this time.
