Police: Suspects impersonated officers, bounty hunters

UPDATE (June 2, 2017) — Jennifer Johnston pleaded guilty to theft. All other charges against her were dismissed. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for four days served and 172 days suspended.


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 22, 2015)– Police arrested four people in connection with a police impersonator investigation.

Brian To, 24, Wesley Small, 23, Kenneth Hill, 34, and Jennifer Johnston, 32 now face several felony charges. Investigators say Alvino Jones, the suspected leader who was already in custody, and the rest of the group had police gear, including badges, tactical vests and handguns.

Investigators say the group would pose as bounty hunters and police officers and allegedly made forced entries into homes.

The investigation is ongoing.
