Police seek man who stole $1,400 in tools from west side Home Depot store

INDIANAPOLIS (April 14, 2015) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are looking for a man caught on camera stealing $1,400 worth of tools from a truck at a west side Indianapolis Home Depot.

The theft happened on April 3 at the Home Depot located at 3902 N. High School Rd. Surveillance video shows the driver pull up to the contractor’s entrance in a gold, four-door Buick Century. The man gets out, puts on a baseball cap and begins looking at trucks parked near the entrance.

The man then parks the car next to a red and white Ford F150 in the parking lot and begins removing tools from the truck. IMPD said he took more than $1,400 in tools.

The suspect appears to be in his 30s with short, dark hair. He wore a dark t-shirt, blue jeans and dark boots.
