ELLETTSVILLE, Ind. (March 2, 2016) – Police in Ellettsville are investigating a series of fraudulent purchases made on a “cloned” debit card. The charges were reported on Feb. 1.

Investigation revealed someone had used the cloned card at five different chain stores in the Indianapolis area, including Footlocker and Finish Line. During those purchases, the victim had the card in her possession.

The Ellettsville Police Department is trying to identify individuals seen in surveillance footage around the time of the purchases, and officers want to question them in the case. They appeared to be driving a white Nissan Altima from the 2013 to 2015 model years, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Officer Zachary Michael at (812) 876-2270.
