Police: Brazen thief busts through wall to steal cell phones from west side store

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 13, 2015) – A thief busted through the wall of a business to get access to cell phones during a December theft, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan police.

On Dec. 23, 2015, the man got inside VIP Wireless, 2918 W. 16th St., around 5:40 a.m. by busting through the wall at an adjacent business. The man stole multiple cell phones, police said. Surveillance cameras captured images of the man, who is believed to be about 5’10” and in his 20s.
