Persons of interest identified after armed robbery in West Lafayette

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Dec. 1, 2015)– West Lafayette police are searching for two Lafayette residents in relation to an armed robbery.

The armed robbery occurred Monday around 4:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North River Road.

Police named Cory Jay Heathcote, 20, and Andrea Marie Smith, 22, as persons of interest in the case.

Heathcote and Smith were last seen in a black Chevrolet Sonic that has a Texas license plate: FVS 6547.

Anyone with information can contact the West Lafayette Police Department (WLPD) at 765-775-5200.

There have been several other robberies in the area over the past few weeks. Anyone with information on those cases is also asked to contact WLPD.
