Metro police investigate shooting on northeast side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 27, 2015) — Metro police are working to investigate a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

It took place in the 3800 block of Breen Drive around 3 a.m. Sunday.  The IMPD police report states officers responded to a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found a 32-year-old male with a gun shot wound. The victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital with possible internal injuries.  Authorities say the injuries are not life-threatening.
