INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 30, 2016) – A jury found an Indianapolis man guilty of murder after deliberating Tuesday.

Deandre Kendrick was accused of shooting and killing Ronald Howard in April 2014 on the east side of Indianapolis. Another man was hurt during the incident but survived.

Sentencing for Kendrick is scheduled for next month.

Kendrick was also charged in connection with a triple homicide in March 2014. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office filed formal charges against Kendrick and another man in that case in December 2014.

Martha Zuluaga, James Czajkowski, and Stephen Harold were found dead from gunshot wounds at an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Shoreland Ct. on March 30, 2014.

The second case against Kendrick is pending.
