Indianapolis man, 19, arrested after armed robbery at Fishers Village Pantry

FISHERS, Ind. (Feb. 5, 2016) – Fishers police arrested a 19-year-old Indianapolis man following an armed robbery at Village Pantry store on Wednesday.

The robbery happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Village Pantry on 8772 E. 96th St.

According to the Fishers Police Department, a Lawrence police officer saw a vehicle Thursday matching the description of the one involved in the robbery. The officer stopped the vehicle and detained the driver, identified as 19-year-old Adelrick Woods.

After getting a positive identification on Woods, Fishers police took him into custody and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail.

Charges against Woods include robbery, pointing a firearm, intimidation, carrying a firearm without a license and theft.

Police were still looking for other suspects in connection with the case and said the investigation was ongoing.
