INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 4, 2016) – Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a woman’s wallet and money in a fake Craig’s List deal.

According to IMPD, a woman responded to an ad for a red and black 2004 Chevy Impala with tinted windows and a rear spoiler for sale on Craig’s List.

She met up with the seller, known to her only as “E Money,” to go for a test drive.

They stopped at the Circle K at 6302 West Washington Street for gas, and the woman went inside to pay. That’s when the suspect fled the scene with the victim’s wallet. The wallet contained $1,200 in cash that she intended to pay him for the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20-26-years-old, 210-220 pounds, with a mustache and a goatee, wearing dark framed eye glasses, a black stocking hat, a black and gray hoodie, blue jeans, and gold boots.
