3 injured after shooting on Indy’s near north side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Three people are injured after being shot on the near north side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a shooting in the 3100 block of Boulevard Place. When they arrived, they found two women and a man, all in their early 30s, suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

A preliminary investigation indicates all three victims were in the back bedroom of the residence at the time of the shooting. Someone fired at the residence from the alleyway through the bedroom wall, causing the injuries.

Police do not have any suspect information as of the time of this report. Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
