INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A credit card skimmer was found attached to an ATM at a National Bank of Indianapolis on the north side Saturday.

A police officer was dispatched to the bank in the 8400 block of North Ditch Road around 9:55 a.m.

When the officer arrived, the branch manager said she found the a gray box attached to the ATM, above the slot where cards are inserted. When she removed the box, she realized it was a skimming device.

Police say the manager reviewed security footage, which showed a suspect attach the device. The suspect was reportedly wearing clothing and a hat that concealed their face and other features.

One customer used the ATM after the device was attached and police say the bank will contact them.
