WASHINGTON — Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence have tested negative for COVID-19.

Press Secretary Devin O’Malley made the announcement Friday morning via Twitter. President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for coronavirus, the president announced overnight.

O’Malley noted that Vice President Pence is tested for COVID-19 every day “as has been routine for months.”

O’Malley said Pence remains in good health and “wishes the Trumps well in their recovery.”
