An umbrella is optional today. Most will stay dry and we'll all be noticeably cooler. Highs will only reach the low 70s this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. There is a 20% chance for an isolated afternoon shower, but most will stay dry.
We'll hang onto these LOW humidity levels through Wednesday, before we crank up the heat and humidity Thursday and Friday...and we'll keep that heat in place through the weekend.
Our next chance for T-showers will be Thursday evening and Friday. Some of the thunderstorms that pop on Thursday evening could be strong or severe. T-storms will be more widespread on Friday.
We hang onto the heat and humidity into this weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be the hottest days of the year so far! With the high humidity levels in place, our heat index could be closer to 98 at times! We do have a 20% chance for a shower on Sunday, while Saturday will stay entirely dry.
