COLUMBUS, Ind. (September 19, 2015)–A vehicle crossing the center line on multiple occasions caught the attention of a Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputy early Saturday.

The deputy said the driver, 21-year-old Brandon Lloyd appeared to be under the influence.

K-9 Max, a Columbus police dog, was brought to the scene and alerted officers to possible drugs in the vehicle.

Investigators say they located marijuana and paraphernalia in the passenger’s purse.

Lloyd was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated and his passenger, 19 year-old Kendra Broughton was charged with possession.
