Colts select Clemson safety T.J. Green during second round of NFL Draft

CHICAGO — The Indianapolis Colts selected Clemson safety T.J. during the second round of the NFL Draft Friday night.

The selection came after the team traded their the 48th pick to the Green Bay Packers for a 57th pick spot. The trade also  gave them two addition picks in the fourth and seventh rounds. Giving them eight picks overall.

Green moved to safety from wide receiver after 2013. He started 16 games during the last two years.

The safety left Clemson with a year of eligibility remaining.

Later in the night, the Colts selected Texas Tech tackle Le’Raven Clark with their 3rd round pick.
