Child suffers minor injuries after being struck by car

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 11, 2015) – Indianapolis Metro Police were called to the 2100 block of West 76th Street for a pedestrian struck.

Police say the victim, who is a juvenile, was struck by a vehicle around 8:45 Saturday evening.

The child was awake and breathing and suffered very minor injuries and was being checked out by medics on the scene.

Officials say the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with police.
