INDIANAPOLIS — We’re all experiencing pain at the pump, with gas prices averaging $4.62 per gallon in Indiana, up from $3.93 a month ago and $2.95 a year ago.

CBS4 wants to help ease the burden, so we’re giving away $100 in free gas to five lucky winners.

Winners will be chosen at random Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20, then again Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23, 24 and 25. You can enter all five days, but you can only win once.

AAA’s latest statistics show the average price of regular gas in Indiana as $4.616, an increase of 18% over last month and 36% over this time last year.

Indiana’s average price is just slightly above the national average of $4.59 per gallon.
