INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 2, 2015) – A car was stolen while a baby was still inside the vehicle Friday morning.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Citgo Gas Station on 69th Street and Michigan Road.
A mother was getting gas, and she went inside to pay for it. That’s when a suspect stole the vehicle.
Shortly after jumping in the car, the suspect must have realized that there was a baby inside.
The suspect then left the baby somewhere on the premises of the Citgo Gas Station.
Initially, the baby’s mother thought that the suspect had taken the baby along with the car, but the baby was found in good condition a short time later.
Police still have not located the stolen vehicle. They are looking for a dark, gray four-door Pontiac Grand Prix with tinted windows.
