INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 3, 2015)– The Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) says a man drove a U-Haul truck into a home Friday afternoon. No one was home at the time of the crash.

Two men, ages 51 and 62, were in the box truck heading south on Boulevard Place when they veered off the road, traveling through a front yard and over a sidewalk. They crossed another yard before crashing into the house in the 3100 block of Boulevard Place.

IFD says they missed a gas line by about an inch, but severed a water main in the basement. An estimated $60,000 in damage was reported.
