Boone County storm knocks power line onto vehicle carrying mother, child

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – The severe storms that moved through central Indiana Wednesday night knocked a power line onto vehicle in Boone County.

That vehicle was carrying a mother and her child near State Road 75 and County Road 500 South in Jamestown.

Authorities say crews had to shut down power to the lines to get the two people out. First responders say they mother and child were not injured in the incident.
