BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Bloomington police are searching for a killer after a man was found shot to death inside a car at a gas station.

Officers responded to the Circle S gas station at 2110 N. Walnut Street on June 7 at 2:11 a.m. in reference to a person being shot.

Officers found 39-year-old Michael T. Parker in the passenger seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the neck.

Medics tried to save Parker and transported him to the hospital, but he had died.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for De Juan Lamar Kelley — who was identified by witnesses — for the charges of murder and carrying a handgun without a license.

Anyone with information on Kelley’s whereabouts should contact Detective Jeff Rodgers at 812-339-4477.

BPD said Kelley should be considered armed and dangerous, and the public should not approach him.
