INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 16, 2016) — It’s National Blood Donor Month and The Indiana Blood Center needs your help. According to a recent Facebook post by the organization, blood donations are at a dangerously low level.

For most blood types, the center has less than a 2-day supply. This increase in demand has blood centers across the state staying open until 4 p.m. Saturday.

Those interested in donating should call the Indiana Blood Center or schedule an appointment online.
