INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Two men are dead and a woman is hurt after a shooting near Fountain Square in the 1800-block of Cottage Avenue. Police say it is an isolated incident, but one that still has neighbors shaken up.
Police think everyone involved knew each other, but at this point they still haven’t said exactly what prompted that shooting.
According to police, officers were called out just before 5:00 p.m. to find two men and a woman shot.
On Monday morning, police say the woman was upgraded from serious to stable condition. Initial reports from the scene said she may be pregnant, but police have yet to confirm that information.
A police report shows the woman is 24 years old, and the two men who were killed are 21 and 32 years old.
The report also shows police made two arrested two men at the scene, a 22 year old and a 24 year old.
Police say everyone involved likely knew one another from the neighborhood, but details on what sparked the gunfire still are not clear.
