MADISON COUNTY, Ind. – Detectives in Madison County are looking for a man accused of attempting to rob four locations in Madison County overnight between 1 and 2 a.m.

The Anderson Police Department said the robberies happened at the CVS at 265 South Scatterfield Road, the Best Western at 2114 East 59th Street and the Chesterfield Travel Inn at 15701 W. Commerce Rd. The man also went to another hotel, police said.

The manager inside Best Western would not comment Tuesday morning.

“For Madison County and the City of Anderson…it is unusual to have that many attempted armed robberies that close in time. But, at this time we have not made a solid connection between the three robberies,” says Chief William Ingles of Chesterfield P.D.

Police say no one was hurt at any location. It’s not yet clear if the suspect displayed a weapon or if any items were taken.

The suspect left his fingerprints behind at the Chesterfield Travel Inn. Indiana State Police analyzed the prints.
