3 juveniles arrested after armed robbery at Indianapolis Family Dollar store

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 25, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested three juvenile suspects after an armed robbery on the east side Friday morning.

Just after 9:15 a.m., police were dispatched to Family Dollar in the 3800 block of North German Church Road in response to a robbery.

After a description of the suspects went out over police radio, officers found a vehicle near the Family Dollar and tried to pull it over. The car took off; after a short pursuit, officers with IMPD and the Lawrence Police Department captured the suspects in the 3500 block of Alpine Lane.

The juvenile suspects face preliminary charges of robbery, and IMPD said more charges could be forthcoming.
